National Institute of Informatics (NII) will hold the 1st Asian STAMP Workshop under the umbrella of the 2nd AI/IoT System Safety and Security Symposium (AIS^3). We call for presentations as follows:

If you wish to present at the Asian STAMP Workshop, please submit your abstract (up to 300 words description of the content of your proposed presentation) at the Application Form or send via email to

Possible Topics:

We especially welcome experiences using STAMP(* 1) to analyze safety & security of AI/IoT system.

Capacity: 500 people

*The fee is expected to be around 5000 yen.

Invited lectures and a panel discussion:

Keynote: Dr. Nancy Leveson (Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics MIT)
There will also be lectures by several researchers, including machine learning system researchers.

* The details of the 2nd AI / IoT System Safety & Security Symposium, call for participation in the detailed program including general announcements, and the start of the call for participants is scheduled for mid-April.

* 1: Analysis method based on the theory that STAMP (System Theoretic Accident Model and Process) “Safety/accidents are emergence characteristics due to the interaction of system components.”
